Drew Brees was named Academic All-America Player of the Year during his senior year at Purdue University. He graduated from Purdue leaving Big Ten Conference records in passing yards (11,792), touchdown passes (90), total offensive yards (12,693), completions (1,026) and attempts (1,678). In March of 2006, Brees left the San Diego Chargers and signed with the New Orleans Saints. He finished the season with 4,418 passing yards and finished third in the NFL with 26 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions. He lead the Saints to a first ever Superbowl victory on February 7th, 2010, the same year in which he won the Most Valuable Player Award and was named AP Male Athlete of the Year. As of week two, 2011, he’s completed 241 touchdowns, 132 interceptions, 35,955 passing yards and holds a quarterback rating of 92.2.
